Women's Golf is Tied for Second after Day One of the 42nd Annual Pat Bradley Invitational

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team hit the links at the 42nd Annual Pat Bradley Invitational, hosted by FIU, at the Lakewood Ranch Golf Club in Lakewood Ranch, Florida Sunday morning.

The Owls, hoping to end the fall season on an upswing, were led by Justine Fournand. Fournand finished strong last week with a tournament third place finish and the freshman from Erstein, France, picked up where she left off with a two-under clean scorecard, 70 on the par 72 course.

The Owls are tied for second among the 17-team field, after shooting a team score of 285. FAU is three shots behind tournament leader South Alabama.

Day One Results

Fournand made a run on her back nine. She hot 37 through the first nine holes and was five under on her back nine, including going four under in her last five holes
Kim Egozi sits among the field's top-10 with a two under 70 (T10). Egozi had a clean scorecard with two birdies and 16 pars on the day
Amanda Leslie shot a first-round 73 and is T29
Sophomore Rose Barnak carded a 74 and is T35
Taylor Morgan rounded out the team with a 76 and is T56

Next Up

The Owls will return to the course both Monday and Tuesday to complete the three-day event and the 2019 fall season
