Women's Golf in Second Place after Round One in Jupiter

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic University's women's golf team traveled to nearby Jupiter, Florida to play host to the Jupiter Women's Invitational, an 11-team event played at the Jonathan's Landing Golf Club.
After one day of competition, the Owls are in second place, three strokes behind fellow Conference USA member FIU. Play will resume on Tuesday on the par 71 course.
Individually, FIU's Agueda Coltilla-Mas leads the field with a -5 66. FAU's Justine Fournand is three strokes off the lead with a two under 69.
