Women's Golf will Move Forward under New Leadership

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University's women's golf will move forward under new leadership, announced Brian White, FAU's vice president and director of athletics, on Friday. The university would like to thank Coach Kathy Baker-Guadagnino for her devotion both as an FAU assistant and ultimately as a head coach.
"It has been my absolute pleasure to serve as an assistant and head coach of the FAU women's golf team these past five years," said Baker-Guadagnino. "I believe the ladies are absolute gems and no matter where the road takes them, they will be successful. I also want to thank all the athletic administration, who work so hard behind the scenes to give the student-athletes a quality college experience. You all are the best and I will miss you!"
Guadagnino, who worked with FAU women's golf five seasons (four as head coach), saw the team finish 11th at the 2018 Conference USA Championships.
"We appreciate Kathy and everything she has done for our program," said White. "We will immediately begin a national search to find our next coach, who will build a highly competitive program in the classroom and on the golf course."
