Owls Conclude Season at C-USA Championship

TEXARKANA, Ark. - The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team finished the 2017-18 season at the Conference USA Championship, claiming 12th place. The Owls moved up one spot in the standings on the final day.
- Ricky Hendler was the top golfer for FAU this week, shooting 229 (+13) overall, tied for 44th place. He finished the championship shooting 78 on the last day including three birdies on holes 3, 10 and 15.
- Sully Zagerman finished tied for 48th, up four spots from the day before. He shot 230 (+14) overall for the week and 75 for Tuesday. Zagerman birdied the second hole to bolster his score during the final round.
- Patrick Poate moved up two spots from Monday to finish for a tie in 55th place overall, shooting 233 (+17) during the championship. He also shot 75 on the final day and had his second straight day with an eagle coming on the second hole this time. He also birdied the first, fourth and sixth holes on day three.
- Brian Dolehide climbed up one spot on day three to finish tied for 59th place. After his 79 on Tuesday with birdies on hole 7 and 11, Dolehide finished the week shooting 239 (+23).
- Adam Friedman finished in 63rd place, shooting 247 (+31) overall.
