Women's Tennis Opens C-USA Tournament Thursday

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team enters the Conference USA Championship Tournament as the No. 4 seed and will face Marshall in the opening round on Thursday at 12 p.m. ET.

The tournament, hosted by Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va., features each of the 14 teams from the league. With a win on Thursday, FAU would move on to face the winner of (12) UTSA and (5) Middle Tennessee at 2 p.m. on Friday.

FAU's lineup for the tournament is as follows:
1. Aliona Bolsova
2. Natalia Boltinskaya
3. Marisa Ruiz
4. JaCara Gillis
5. Jennifer Leib
6. Jemi Aguilar

The doubles lineup shapes up as:
1. Aliona Bolsova/Jemi Aguilar
2. Kristen Thoms/JaCara Gillis
3. Natalia Boltinskaya/Marisa Ruiz

Bolsova enters the tournament as the No. 2 singles player in the nation while she and Aguilar are ranked No. 55 in doubles.
