Aliona Bolsova Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic University Sophomore Aliona Bolsova has been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Tennis Team thanks to her success on the court and her 3.8 grade point average in the classroom.

Bolsova, a native of Paladrugell, Spain, owns a record of 17-0 to rank No. 2 in the nation in singles and is 10-2 in doubles with Jemi Aguilar to rank No. 55. Bolsova is a history major with a 3.8 GPA.

"I'm super proud of this talented player on and off the court," FAU Head Coach Marcy Hora-Cava said.

Bolsova will lead the Owls into the Conference USA Tournament in Norfolk, Va. starting on Thursday, April 19.
