Ronald Delph Named Third Team All-Conference USA

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University senior center Ronald Delph was named Third Team All-Conference USA, the league announced Monday. The announcement was made in advance of the Conference USA tournament, which begins on Wednesday, March 7 in Frisco, Texas. He is the first FAU player to make the All-Conference team since Pablo Bertone in 2014.
Delph is currently 16th in the conference at 14.4 points per game and third in rebounding at 8.7 per game. Earlier this season, he became the seventh player in FAU men's basketball history to amass 500 career rebounds. Delph was named Conference USA Player of the Week on Jan. 29, 2018. Bertone was also the most recent Owl to earn that honor, back on Dec. 9, 2013.
The Owls are the No. 11 seed for the C-USA tournament and will play sixth-seeded UAB on Wednesday, March 7 at 10 p.m. EST. Live audio of the game will be available at www.fausports.com.
