Hendler Named C-USA Golfer of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Florida Atlantic University senior Ricky Hendler was named the Conference USA Golfer of the Week after tallying three under-par rounds at the FAU Spring Championship at Osprey Point.

Hendler placed tenth out of 114 golfers with his 71-70-71 212 to lead the Owls in the 19-team event. Hendler was even-par on par-threes and and was two under on par fours en route to three of his lowest rounds of the season.

This marks the second time this year that an FAU golfer has earned the weekly honor after Sully Zagerman was named Golfer of the Week on March 7.

The Owls will travel to Jonesboro, Ark. to face Arkansas State April 2-3 before competing in the Conference USA Championship.
