BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Brian Dolehide tallied a 68 and Adam Friedman shot a 69 to lead the Florida Atlantic University men's golf team in the opening round of the FAU Spring Championship at Osprey Point on Friday.

Dolehide, playing individually, recorded three birdies on the back nine en route to his 68, putting him in third place in the field of 113
Friedman lead the field in Par 5 scoring and birdies with eight to lead the FAU team participants, sitting in a tie for seventh overall
Ricky Hendler turned in a 71 with four birdies, including one on the final hole
Sully Zagerman also birdied twice on the back nine, including 18, to score a 75, tying for 65th
Karan Nalam was one stroke back with two birdies at a 76
Cody Christensen rounded out the FAU squad with a 77
Patrick Poate was second among the FAU individuals with his 71 while Yuki Fujii and Chris Thomas turned in a 74 and 75, respectively
