BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team shot the second-lowest round in the field on Tuesday to vault to a second place finish at the USF Invitational.
- The Owls tallied a 299-306-299 904, finishing behind host USF and two strokes ahead of Southern Illinois
- Ricky Hendler's 69-77-76 222 paced the Owls and put the senior in seventh overall
- Cody Christensen was just one stroke back to finish ninth with a 76-74-73 223
- Sully Zagerman also improved each round in a 77-76-75 228 16th-place performance
- Adam Friedman recorded a 77-79-75 231 to place 24th
- Newcomer Karan Nalam shot a steady 80-80-77 237 to tie for 36th in the 66-man field
