Men's Hoops Finishes Regular Season on the Road

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team will conclude the 2017-18 regular season with games at Old Dominion and Charlotte on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. FAU clinched a berth in the Conference USA Tournament with Saturday night's win over North Texas and are currently the No. 10 seed in the tournament.
Last Week: FAU (12-16, 6-10 C-USA) split its final two home games of the season, losing to Rice 79-76 in overtime on Thursday, but defeating North Texas 74-54 on Saturday night.
History: The Owls have met Old Dominion on seven different occasions, with the Monarchs winning five. The two teams played earlier this season with ODU winning 73-62 despite a double-double from Ronald Delph (19 points, 10 rebounds). FAU will head to Charlotte to play the 49ers on Saturday. The Owls will be seeking for a sweep of the season series after winning the first meeting 75-64 earlier this season.
