Men's Hoops Hosts FIU in Rematch

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team returns home to host rival FIU on Saturday in a rematch from earlier this season. The Panthers (11-15, 5-8 Conference USA) won the first meeting 58-57 on December 30.
Last Week: FAU (10-15, 4-9 C-USA) lost both halves of its road trip last week, losing to WKU 75-63 on Thursday night and falling to Marshall 79-68 on Saturday night.
History: The Panthers lead the all-time series 23-15 on the court, but had to vacate some of the wins due to NCAA sanctions. In the contest earlier this season, Trejon Jacob led all scorers with 17 points, while Brian Beard had 16 points, eight assists and six steals. William Pfister collected a career-high 16 rebounds in the game.
