TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team swept Florida A&M 7-0 on Friday in their first match of the weekend in Tallahassee.
- Aliona Bolsova and Jemi Aguilar sparked a sweep of doubles action as the duos of Natalia Boltinskaya/JaCara Gillis and Marisa Ruiz/Kristen Thoms also won their doubles matches
- In singles play, Boltinskaya won 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 1 slot to move to 8-1 on the year
- Kristen Thoms followed close behind with her 6-0, 6-1 victory against Karen Machisa
- JaCara Gillis improved to 6-2 on the season with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Haleigh Porter
- Jennifer Leib earned her first victory of the season 6-1, 6-4 against Sophia Osabouhien
- Naiya Oden took down Rachel Harden 6-3, 6-3
- Marisa Ruiz capped off the sweep with a 6-7, 7-6, 10-5 win vs. Aylen Hubeaurt
