CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - The Florida Atlantic University track and field team finished up the Virginia Challenge, highlighted by Jamika Glades finishing among the top five collegians in two events.

She has the No. 1 mark in Conference USA in that race, which is also good enough for No. 16 in the NCAA East region and No. 25 overall in the NCAA

Quotable:
"This weekend certainly taught us a number of lessons," said Head Coach Alex Smolka. "With temperatures in the 80's on day one and in the high 40's on day two, it taught us to be ready for anything. Learning to only focus on things we are able to control will serve us very well moving forward. We had some great, good, and so-so performances; and all of them will serve us very well as we move toward the culmination of our outdoor season."
What's Next:
The team's final preparation for the postseason is next Friday, April 28, in Gainesville at the University of Florida's Tom Jones Memorial Invitational.
