Women's Tennis Opens C-USA Tournament Thursday

DENTON, Texas - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team will open the Conference USA Tournament against the No. 6 seed WKU at 4 p.m. ET Thursday, April 20 in Denton, Texas.
The 11th-seeded Owls (11-10) did not face the Hilltoppers this year, and split their matches against other C-USA teams in the field, including a win over Middle Tennessee.
FAU is led by seniors Lyndsey Boos and Ana Gutierrez, who boast 12 and 11 singles victories, respectively. In doubles play, the duo of Gutierrez and freshman Laura Fabrizi have crafted a 13-6 record in the No. 1 slot while Boos and junior Marisa Ruiz sit at 9-5 on the year.
