Day Three Results

Florida Atlantic University swimming and diving's Victoria Moretti qualified to compete in a second event at the 2017 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships after earning 11^th place in the platform at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships on Wednesday afternoon.

"What an amazing job from Victoria," said Head Swim and Dive Coach Lara Preacco. "After remarkable performances during the Conference USA Championship, Victoria remained focused at Zones and qualified for NCAAs on the 3-meter and platform. I am so happy for her and can't wait to continue seeing her improve and excel for the next three years. Great Job Victoria!"

Making A Splash

Finals

Moretti took 11th in the platform finals to clinch a spot at the NCAA Championships next week. The freshman had a final score of 473.75 and just made the cut as the top 12 advance to the big show.

Prelims

Moretti fought her way back and secured 10^th place (240.00) in the platform prelims to move on to the finals.
Ryan McIntire ended his 2016-17 season in the 3-meter prelims, finishing with a final score of 243.45.

Moretti will compete in the 3-meter and the platform at the 2017 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships on March 15-18 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana. The morning sessions on Friday and Saturday, which feature Moretti's events, will be streamed live on NCAA.com and indianasportscorp.org/ncaasd. If she advances to the finals, you can watch her on ESPN3.com, which will stream the championship finals sessions live on Friday and Saturday night.
