BOCA RATON, Fla. - Senior Ana Gutierrez won the deciding match as the Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team defeated NIU 4-3 to win its third straight contest.

• The Huskies won the doubles points with a 7-5 win in the No. 1s and a 6-3 victory in the No. 2s
• Lyndsey Boos and Marisa Ruiz were leading their doubles match 5-4 when the point was decided
• Boos surged in singles with her 6-0, 6-0 win over Brodie Walker to improve to 6-0 in the No. 2 slot
• Bianca Biglione stepped up to defeat Michelle Erasmus 6-0, 6-0 to give the Owls the edge
• Soon after, Alisa Rudenko beat Abigail Dekkinga 6-1, 6-0 to win her fourth out of her last five decisions in singles
