HEATHROW, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team climbed four spots on Tuesday for a fifth-place finish at the Frontier Secure Intercollegiate at the Heathrow Country Club. Ricky Hendler lead the Owls and finished fifth overall with a 72-70-71 213.

• FAU shaved 16 strokes off its team total from the first round to the third to make the biggest improvement in the field
• Hendler finished second in the field in total pars with 37 and in par-3 scoring, shooting even for the tournament
• Chris Thomas shot a 75-72-72 219 to tie for 16th overall
• Caleb Sibley tallied FAU's low round on Tuesday with a 70 to finish 34th overall with a 225
• Sully Zagerman followed close behind with a 226, also shooting his lowest round on Tuesday with a 73
• Brian Dolehide rounded out the FAU squad with a 226, tying for 38th
• Luke Campbell, playing individually, matched Dolehide's performance and also shot a 73 for his low on Tuesday.
