Owls Hit the Road to End Regular Season

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team wraps up the regular season with a road trip to UAB and Charlotte. The Owls are currently the no. 5 seed for the upcoming Conference USA tournament entering the final weekend of conference play.
Last Week: FAU (16-8, 7-5 C-USA) had its four match winning streak snapped by UTSA on Friday, but swept UTEP on Sunday to clinch a spot in the C-USA tournament for the fifth straight season.
History: The Owls have won four of the five previous meetings with UAB (11-18, 4-8), who is still alive for a berth in the conference tournament. FAU swept the Blazers in last season's meeting behind 11 kills from Abbi Reid. Sunday's clash with the 49ers (18-10, 5-7) will be a rematch from earlier this year, when five different Owls had at least 10 kills in a four-set FAU victory.

Upcoming: The Owls will travel to Bowling Green, Kentucky for the Conference USA tournament, hosted by WKU. The tournament begins on Thursday, Nov. 17.
