Volleyball Travels to Rice, Middle Tennessee

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will make its first Conference USA road trip of the season. The Owls will travel to Rice on Friday, then head to Middle Tennessee on Sunday.
Last Week: FAU (10-5, 1-2 C-USA) split its homestand last weekend, falling to FIU in four sets on Friday, before defeating Charlotte in four sets on Sunday. Sydney Nemtuda had back-to-back double-doubles and was named C-USA Freshman of the Week.
History: Rice has won five of the six all-time meetings. FAU's only win came in five sets last season in a match that was delayed by Hurricane Matthew. Middle Tennessee leads the series with the Owls 17-4. However, FAU currently has a three-match winning streak against the Blue Raiders.
