Volleyball With Rematch at FIU, Hosts Marshall

BOCA RATON, Fla. - (Oct. 25, 2017) â€" The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will wrap up its three-match road trip at FIU on Friday, Oct. 27 before hosting Marshall on Sunday, Oct. 29.
Last Week: FAU (13-7, 4-4 C-USA) won both of its matches over the weekend, sweeping Louisiana Tech on Friday, then outlasting Southern Miss in five sets on Sunday. Sydney Nemtuda was named C-USA Freshman of the Week for her play. It was the second time this season that earned the award.
History: FIU leads the all-time series with the Owls 30-27, including a four-set win in Boca Raton earlier this season. Sunday's tilt will be the sixth time FAU and Marshall have faced off, with the Thundering Herd holding a 4-1 advantage. Marshall won last year's confrontation in four sets. The loss snapped what had been an eight-match winning streak for the Owls.
