BOCA RATON, Fla. - Devorious Brown had career highs of 12 points and seven rebounds, but it was not enough as the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team lost to Marshall 89-72 on Monday night. FAU now stands at 4-9 on the season and 0-2 in Conference USA play.

Adonis Filer made a basket to cut FAU's deficit to 53-44 with 15:03 to go in the game. The Thundering Herd answered with a 17-9 run to push the margin to 17 and the lead remained at least that much the rest of the way.
