Women's Golf Starts Strong at Lady Falcon Invitational

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Kadi Pallastrone leads the Florida Atlantic University women's golf team with a two-over 74 in the first round of the Lady Falcon Invitational in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Pallastrone sits in sixth place overall and is joined in the top-20 by teammates Heather Netti (76, T-12th) and Jennifer Keim (77, T-19th). Tai Barber sits in 32nd with an 81 while Daniella Castaneda rounds out the travel squad for the Owls.
As a team, FAU sits in fifth place in the 12-team field with a 308 first round. Host Daytona State leads the pack along with Seminole State with each team turning in a 297 opening round.
Play continues with 8 a.m. tee times on Sunday, Sept. 18.
