Men's Soccer Suffers 2-1 Overtime Loss at Belmont

NASHVILLE, Tenn. â€" An overtime goal allowed Belmont to edge the Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team by a 2-1 margin on Sunday in Nashville.
The Owls (0-2) out-shot the Bruins 20-16 after an aggressive start. Newcomer Dylan Huber paced FAU with six shots on the day.
In the 33rd minute, freshman Nikolas Gomez scored FAU's first goal of the season off of a rebound to give the Owls an advantage.
Less than a minute later, Belmont responded to even the contest against freshman goalkeeper Daniel Ragoo.
FAU took three shots in the final ten minutes of regulation, including a header off the post by Albion Neziri, but couldn't pull ahead.
After a blocked shot by Huber in the 92nd minute, Belmont scored the game-winner off a rebound in the 93rd minute for the winner.
