FAU Swimming & Diving Recognized by CSCAA Scholar All-America

College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America recognized Florida Atlantic University Swimming & Diving this week for the teams' success in the classroom.

The men's team posted a 3.03 spring G.P.A. and the women's team posted a 3.32 spring G.P.A. Both teams received the same honor following the fall semester.

The two programs' academic success this season doesn't end there. The FAU women's team had three voted onto the 2016 C-USA All-Academic Team. While, the men's team had 21 members named to the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) 2016 All-Academic Honorees list.

"We set very high standards for our team and expect them to perform well both in and out of the pool," said Lara Preacco, FAU's head men's and women's swimming and diving coach. "We are proud of our student-athletes and look to continue to build a program that is focused on academic and athletic excellence."

The 2016-17 swim schedule will be announced late summer or early fall.
