Beach Volleyball Sixth Seed in Inaugural CCSA Beach Volleyball Tournament

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team will be the sixth seed in the inaugural Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Beach Volleyball Championship, set to begin on Friday, April 22 at the Lakepoint Sporting Community in Emerson, Ga.
The Owls finished their regular season with a 12-13 record. The event opens with a round robin portion with the eight teams split into two groups and each team playing all other teams in their group once. FAU is in Group 2 with second seeded Georgia State, no. 3 seed FIU and no. 7 seed Tulane. The top three teams in each group will advance to the elimination phase of the tournament, with each group winner receiving a bye into the semifinals.
FAU will face Tulane in its first match at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.
