BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic women's tennis hosted Xavier on Thursday and lost 7-0 to the Musketeers. Xavier won both doubles and singles with FAU not able to gain any traction in the match. FAU was able to win at the No. 2 doubles position but was swept in singles for the second time this season.

The FAU duo of Cassie Pough and Alexis Crenshaw provided the only win for the Owls on the day, defeating Cristina De Lorenzo and Alex Brinker 6-2. Pough and Crenshaw are 5-3 on the season when paired together.

FAU hopes to get back on track next week March 15, against Northern Iowa, at 12 p.m. at home at Patch Reef Park.
