Florida Atlantic University women's swimming and diving saw first place finishes from Paulina Boeger, Agnes Bucz and Hannah Roper in their 115 to 71 loss to FIU on Saturday.
The team of Rachel Crino, Hannah Roper, Laura Conoscenti and Agnes Bucz started off the meet with a second place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:47.18). Bucz followed that up with a second place finish in the 200 freestyle with a final time of 1:52.94.
Freshman Paulina Boeger was FAU's top finisher in the 400 IM with final time of 4:33.32, earning her a first place finish. Boeger also had a nice 100 back, finishing fourth overall with a time of 1:01.53. Roper finished second in the 50 free with a final time of 24.68, as teammate Lydia Musleh finished right behind her in third with a final time of 25.03. Alexis DeLisle finished fourth as well with a final time of 25.12.
Conoscenti got a top three finish for the Owls, finishing third place in the 100 fly with a final time of 58.75. Bucz continued to shine today as she brought home a first place finish in the 100 free with a final time of 52.23. Crino had a strong finish in the 100 free and 100 backstroke as well, finishing third overall with a time of 53.28 and second in the 100 back (58.15).
Roper got the third first place finish for the Owls, finishing first in the 100 breast with a final time of 1:05.38. The day ended with a third place finish in the 200 freestyle relay (1:40.60) by the team of Bucz, Emily Summa, Kyleigh Firman, and Katie Dodge.
