Volleyball Wraps Up Regular Season at Home

BOCA RATON, Fla. The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will close out its regular season this week, playing at home against UAB and Charlotte on Thursday and Saturday, respectively. Saturday's match will be Senior Day, and the Owls will recognize their four seniors before the contest.
Last Week: FAU (13-13, 8-4 Conference USA) lost twice last weekend, first to UTSA in straight sets on Friday and then to UTEP in four on Sunday. FAU currently sits in sixth place in the conference standings but could potentially end up as high as second after this weekend. UAB (11-17, 3-9) lost to WKU in its only match last weekend. Charlotte (7-21, 1-11) dropped both of its tilts last weekend, losing to Louisiana Tech in four sets on Friday and losing a five-set heartbreaker to Marshall on Saturday.
History: The Owls lead the all-time series with UAB 2-1. Maja Ristic had 10 kills in the Owls' straight set victory over UAB last season. FAU has won six of the seven all-time matches against Charlotte, including a sweep of the 49ers earlier this season.
