Key Plays
The first set was a tug-of-war for most of the frame. UTSA (20-7) led 18-17 before winning five of the next six points on its way to a 25-20 win. The Roadrunners built a 13-6 lead in set number two before the Owls closed to within three at 16-13. However, FAU wouldn't get any closer as another UTSA scoring run foiled any hopes of a FAU comeback. Trailing 20-17 in the third set, FAU scored seven unanswered points on its way to a 25-22 win. The decisive run in the fourth set didn't come until late. The Roadrunners led by a single point, 18-17, before going on a 6-1 run, winning the frame 25-19.
