Maja Ristic Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

IRVING, Texas – Florida Atlantic University volleyball player Maja Ristic has been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, the conference office announced on Friday. It is the second year in a row that she has received the honor.

The announcement is being made in conjunction with the Conference USA Volleyball Tournament.

            Ristic leads the team in kills per set at 3.6 and service aces (38) and also averages 2.51 digs per set, good for third on the team. She was also named First Team All-Conference USA for the second consecutive year earlier this week. The Brcko, Bosnia native has 10 double-doubles on the year and maintains a 3.41 GPA while majoring in exercise science.

FAU will face UTSA in the first round of the Conference USA Tournament on Friday, Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. Eastern. Links to live stats and live video will be available at fausports.com.
