FAU Athletics Update for Sunday, Oct. 9

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University welcomes fans to each of FAU’s Sunday, Oct. 9 sporting events, including volleyball, women’s soccer and football. All events are free of charge.
We thank our students, fans and visiting teams for their cooperation these past few days. Please note, we had to make significant adjustments with scaling down our game day operations because of more important needs throughout the state of Florida. There also are conflicting events locally that utilize the same staffing pool as FAU. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those effected by Hurricane Matthew including our normal game day operations staff that reside in central and north Florida. We will remain steadfast in our goals to provide a first-class experience for our student-athletes and fans. The following are some helpful notes for Sunday, Oct. 9 at Florida Atlantic University:
- Like all games, we encourage fans to come early as all normal operating security measures will be in place
- Parking lots will open at 8 a.m.
- Student tailgate lot will open at 10 a.m.
- Cash lots are free
- All pre-purchased green, orange, silver, yellow, blue, red, and purple parking passes will be honored
- Valet will be open, but due to reduced staff availability valet pass holders will have the option to park at either of the valet location, yellow lot, silver lot, or on level two and three of Garage III to assist with wait times
- Season ticket holder seats will be honored, but patrons must have their ticket
- FAU ticket staff and stadium staff will be on-hand to enforce season-ticket holder seat locations
- Access to the Delray Acura Club, Loges and Suites will be enforced
- Entry to volleyball and women’s soccer events are free of charge and all operations will be per normal procedures
As a reminder, Fans who purchased tickets to this game can contact the FAU Athletics Ticket Office to trade in those tickets to a future game. For more ticket information email tickets@fau.edu and your questions will be answered within a timely manner.
