BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss in a rainy match at Jacksonville on Tuesday.
Quick Hits:
- David Adejunmobi and Nikolas Gomez each took two shots for FAU
- Oliver Powers, Jason Fitzgerald, Dylan Huber, Carlos Sanchis and Daniel Del Rio all took shots as well
- Goalkeeper Phillip Hitpass made one save over 83 minutes before Josh Nolan saw seven minutes of action in net
- The FAU defense withstood a barrage of shots and three consecutive corner kicks to open the second half before JU's Alberto Escobedo scored from 18 yards out for the deciding point
