Oden, Owls Earn Wins at Bedford Cup

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Freshman Naiya Oden, along with seniors Heather Walton and Bianca Biglione, led the Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team at the Bedford Cup over the weekend.

"Naiya's singles win and tennis was impressive, but her demeanor on court is something that really stood out to me and sets the bar high for everyone," FAU Head Coach Marcy Hora-Cava said. "Naiya's self control and attitude is something that coaches don't typically see from a freshman, but it makes my job as a coach much easier because we can focus solely on tennis. Heather and Alysa's win over FSU in doubles was a big win and they deserved it. Bianca fought a long hard match against a very tough opponent."
