BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team came up just short and were nipped by WKU in overtime 86-82 on Saturday. The game was the last of a three-game road swing to start Conference USA play for the Owls (2-14, 0-3 C-USA)

Jackson Trapp's three-pointer put the Owls up 78-77 with 2:17 to go in the extra session, but the Hilltoppers (9-7, 1-2) closed on a 9-4 run to take the game.
Notables
• Adonis Filer led FAU in scoring for the second game in a row with 14. Ronald Delph and Jackson Trapp each had 13. Delph's 13 were a career high.
• Delph and Jesse Hill tied for the team high with eight rebounds each. Hill's eight were his best of the season.
• Delph's five blocks in the game were also a career high, surpassing the three he had against Hofstra in the Owls' final game before Christmas.
• FAU outrebounded the Hilltoppers 43-35 on the day, but was outscored 44-30 in the paint.
• Marquan Botley had three assists, tying Paul Graham for sixth in FAU history with 230 in his career.
