BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic women's tennis traveled to Chilly Macon, GA Saturday to face Mercer coming away with a 4-2 loss. With temperatures in the high 30's FAU was able to win at the No. 5 and 6 singles positions, but could not overcome the Bears.
FAU juniors Heather Walton and Bianca Biglione both secured their second wins of the season. Walton defeated Roxy Bartz 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 at the No. 5 position, and Biglione defeated Haley Powell 7-5, 6-1 at the No. 6 position to score the Owls only two points of the match.
FAU continues it's road trip with a stop at Savannah State on Sunday at 10 a.m.
