Women's Golf Takes Fourth Place at Lady Falcon Invitational

The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team finished fourth with a team total of 644 after two days of play in the Lady Falcon Invitational hosted by Daytona State College.
Kadi Pallastrone was FAU's top finisher shooting an 11-over 155 to tie for ninth place. Pallastrone was able to finish in the top-10 after shooting 75 on the second day of the tournament. Christina Langerand Tai Barber both finished the tournament tied at 14th shooting 16-over, 160.
Arielle Roberts, Emily Faulkner, Daniella Castaneda and Heather Netti rounded out both of FAU's teams, finishing with tournament totals of 164, 165, 166 and 167, respectively. Roberts finished in 24th and Faulkner finished 21-over for 25th place. Castaneda shot an eight-over 80 to tie for 26th place, and Netti shot a 14-over 86 to finish the tournament in 31st place. Jennica Longshot 11-over 83 in the second round to finish the tournament in 34th place. The Owls had two teams participate in the tournament with the Red Team finishing in fourth, just four shots out of third place, and the Blue team finishing in seventh.
The Owls will play in the Jacksonville University Classic on Monday, Sept. 28th and Tuesday, Sept. 29th in Jacksonville, Fla.
