Owls On Final Road Trip of Regular Season

Game Notes BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team will begin its final road trip of the regular season, starting Thursday against Western Kentucky and continuing on Saturday against Marshall. The Owls (8-17, 1-13 C-USA) have lost nine in a row, but are still alive for the conference tournament.
The Hilltoppers (16-10, 9-5) has lost four games in a row by a combined total of 16 points. The two teams met earlier this season, with WKU overcoming a 13-point, second half deficit to win 88-85 in overtime. Three Owls scored at least 20 points in the loss. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. eastern and the game will air on Fox College Sports Central.
On Saturday, the Owls will head to Marshall to face the Thundering Herd. FAU won the first game this season 76-62 in Boca Raton. Kelvin Penn had 12 points and 11 rebounds in the victory. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
