Men's Basketball to Travel to Louisiana Tech, Southern Miss

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team will make its latest Conference USA road trip this week with games at Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss.
The Owls (8-13, 1-9 C-USA) lost all three of their games last week to FIU, UTEP and UTSA, despite Justin Raffington averaging 13.7 points and eight rebounds in the three contests.
On Thursday night, FAU will face Louisiana Tech, one of three teams currently tied for first in the conference. The Bulldogs (18-6, 9-2) defeated the Owls 84-64 in FAU's first ever Conference USA game. Raffington had his third straight double-double in the game.
FAU will conclude the weekend on Saturday when they face Southern Miss (6-16, 1-10), enter the week having lost four in a row. However, the Golden Eagles won last year's meeting 60-49 in Boca Raton, despite four Owls scoring in double figures.
Thursday's game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. eastern, while Saturday's game starts 8 p.m. eastern. Live audio of both games will be available on fausports.com. All FAU games will be carried on ESPN West Palm 106.3, which has an APP for the Smart Phone platform.
