Owls Prepare for Final Two Home Matches

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will host its final two home matches of the 2015 season this weekend. The Owls host North Texas on Friday before facing WKU on Sunday. Friday's match starts at 7 p.m., while Sunday's match begins at noon. FAU can clinch a spot in the Conference USA tournament with a pair of wins this weekend.

Last week: FAU lost to UTSA in four sets in its only match last week, despite double-doubles by both Genesis Viera and Ivone Martinez.

History: North Texas leads the all-time series 8-2. The Mean Green won last season's meeting in four hotly competitive sets in Denton. WKU has won all 19 meetings with the Owls, including a three-set sweep earlier this season.

Promotions: Sunday is Senior Day. Brittney Brown, Raveen Golston and Kristina Rankovic will all be recognized prior to the match.
