Day 3 Results
Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving completed the Georgia Tech Invitational on Saturday night.
In the first event of the finals, Abbey King took fourth in the 1650 freestyle with a final time of 16:48.06. Rachel Crino had another great swim, finishing sixth overall in the 200 back with a final time of 2:00.02.
Other highlights from the women's side today came from Hannah Roper, and Paulina Boeger. Roper had a strong performance in the 200 breast today, finishing in a final time of 2:20.67. Boeger followed suite finishing 16th overall in the 200 back with a final 2:01.74.
On the men's side, Matthieu Burtez placed 13th overall in the 100 free finishing in 45.10. John Nolte and Malachi Oakes had a strong performance in the 100 free finishing in 23rd and 25th, respectively with final times of 45.98 and 46.52. Other highlights from the men's side came from Michael Rahrig and Nick Landi. Rahrig finished 17th overall in the 200 fly with a final time of 1:51.03. Landi was able to bring home a 17th place finish In the 200 back, recording a final time of 1:51.12.
After three days of competition, the women finished eight out of 18 teams with a total of 229.5 points, and the men finished sixth out of 11 with a total score of 279.
