"All around it was a very tough course, a lot harder than we expected. It affected us a little as seen in our times. We thought we were going to be a little faster on both sides, but overall we did a good job. We will continue to build and get better." Said Coach Alex Smolka
"On the women's side we were really happy to see the small gap between number one and five runners, being able to beat some good teams and being close to UCF was good for us. I am very happy for Carydaliz as she was able to finish in under 20 minutes for the first time."
The Owls will travel to Orlando, Fla. to compete in the Disney Cross Country Invite on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 a.m. For more information or to view the full cross country schedule, please visit FAUsports.com.
