Justin Massey Named Conference USA Freshman of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University men's basketball player Justin Massey has been named Conference USA Freshman of the Week, as announced by C-USA today.

Massey was a key contributor in the Owls' 72-63 win over East Carolina on Wednesday. The freshman walk-on from Cooper City, Fla. tied his career high with 17 points and five rebounds, while setting career highs in three-pointers made (five), assists (five), and minutes played (39). For the season, Massey is averaging 10.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, having started all six of FAU's games and averaging just under 30 minutes per contest.

The Owls travel to Orlando to face UCF on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8 p.m.
