HOUSTON, TX - FAU's men's golf team finished the Rice Intercollegiate at Westwood Golf Club on Tuesday with freshman, Richard Donegan in first-place. The team finished in second with 7-over 871 and Derron Peyton finished in the top-20.
Donegan took first during the second round of play on Monday and scored 73 on day two to hold onto first-place overall with 6-under 210. He finished even par on par 3 scoring and recorded 14 birdies over the two days.
Freshman Derron Peyton finished in the top-20 tying for 18th place with 3-over 219. Peyton recorded 36 pars over the three rounds.
The other Owl individuals were: Medinis(221), Gates(222), Wilhelm (225).
The men's golf team travels to Halifax Plantation to compete in the Gary Freeman BCU Spring Invitational on February 17- 18.
