Women's Basketball Puts Up Triple Digits in Exhibition

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team topped triple-digits as the Owls defeated Lynn University 101-51 in an exhibition contest Sunday afternoon.
FAU's Katherine Wright led the team with 18 points as one of five FAU players with double-digit scoring. The freshman shot 6-of-8 from the field and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe.
The senior-laden squad saw four veterans score double-digits in Briah Blakely, Latavia Dempsey, Kimberly Smith, and Takia Brooks.
The Owls open the regular season with a road trip to Ohio. FAU faces Akron on Friday, November 8 and Ohio State on November 10.
