Dragan Sekelja Named Conference USA Player to Watch

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University senior center Dragan Sekelja was named a men's basketball Player to Watch by Conference USA on Thursday.

Sekelja, a Zagreb, Croatia native, appeared in all 32 games last season, his first after transferring from Baylor. In all, 16 players were named to the list, which features nine all-conference performers and eight (including Sekelja) with postseason experience. This preseason roster includes eight seniors, five juniors and three sophomores.

The Owls open their season on Friday, Nov. 9 against Ave Maria. Live stats and live video for the game will be available at www.fausports.com. The game will also be broadcast on ESPN 106.3.
