The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team lost both of its matches on the second day of the Stetson Clarion Classic.

The Owls (1-3) lost to Hampton (4-5) in five sets (20-25, 25-17, 23-25, 25-17, 15-10) in their match of the day. Chandler Hatton led the squad with 17 kills and Alessia Pizzocheri had a double-double (13 kills, 12 digs) in the match.

In the second match, the Owls fell to Central Arkansas (7-0) in straight sets (25-16, 29-27, 25-11). Thacilli Pereira had a team high 11 kills as FAU hit just .054 as a team, its lowest total of the weekend.

Hatton and Cintia Nightingale were named to the All-Tournament Team. FAU will take some time off before returning to DeLand to face Stetson in a match on September 11.
