BLOOMINGTON, IN - The Florida Atlantic men's basketball team lost to #6 Indiana 88-52 on Friday night.
The game was the second against a ranked opponent this season for the Owls (5-7), who lost to then #11 North Carolina in their season opener. Greg Gantt scored a game high 25 points, but was unable to keep FAU in the game after an early 20-2 Hoosier (11-1) run.
Gantt is now just four points away from becoming the all-time leading scorer for the Owls. He was the only FAU player in double digits. Richard Morrow had eight points off of the bench and Dragan Sekelja led the team with four assists.
FAU will take some time off for the holidays before resuming Sun Belt Conference play when they play at Troy on December 27th. The game will start at 8 p.m. eastern and live audio of the game will be available at www.fausports.com.
