Boca Raton, Fla. - Members of the Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team recently discussed the pride they share in following the success of the United States team in this month's World Cup. Seven players on the U.S. team are members of the magicJack team in the Women's Professional Soccer league. The magicJack plays its home matches at the FAU Soccer Complex.
West Palm Beach television station (WPBF) interviewed players Jesse Shugg, Courtney Zwetsch, Chloe Giordano and Breanna Lewis about the experience of seeing how the professional players interact with local fans at matches. FAU Head Coach Brian Dooley discussed how great it is to see the U.S. national team players playing and practicing on the Owls' facilities.
