BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic fell to in-state rival Florida Gulf Coast in straight sets (25-21, 25-13, 25-29) on Tuesday night.
FAU (3-22) was led offensively by Georgia Robinson's 11 kills. FGCU (14-10) was paced by Jelena Simic's 15 kills. Robinson also had a match high three blocks. Madison Lang had nine digs in the match to lead FAU.
The Owls will travel to Louisiana this weekend to face the Ragin' Cajuns on Friday. First serve is set for 8 p.m. eastern.
